Music

The choir practises with the choir of St Thomas’ Musbury and they sing together for festivals, carol services and concerts.Their repertoire ranges from the music of composers such as Faure and Bach to modern-day composers such as Philip Stopford. This Easter they sang a piece by Stopford with ended in 6 parts.There is always a welcome for new singers no matter what their experience.

Organ

The Organ at St James is a  4 manual Father Willis and is probably one of the best in the county.Our Organist Adrian van der Schans is a soloist and accompanist .He has given Recitals in Chester Cathedral and Bolton Parish Church.

Concerts

We hold concerts and Organ Recitals as advertised in our Noticeboard page we recently gave a Spring Concert with choir, organ, harp and recorder.
